Sha-zay-am. What side is that Private Pyle? Now after this spreader event the kids go back to their communities all over the state to mingle among the general population. And people wonder why the virus is spiking.

If this was the final ranking why use other factors at all? Head to head should "trump" all in the final race. If it were state would you rank the 1st place team lower because of other factors?

Its not based on the sectional results alone. There are a number of factors that go into this.

could someone please explain how glenbard south lost to fenwick by three points at sectionals, and was only behind benet by 11 points, yet we're not even ranked despite beating #30 st viator by 64 points?

no clue my guy... i run for a certain team and lets just say we beat chatham-glenwood by 12 last week and didnt get ranked over them... smh

Not a critique of the people who give their time to cover the meets, but track and cross country have to be the only sports where you have to wait over 24 hours for summaries and replays. It's a shame there's no financial backing.

I clearly stated it was not the fault of the people who cover the sport but a problem with the lack of support for the sport itself. Sorry if that was misunderstood.

Thought LT would make a better showing on their home course. Too bad no state this year, I think St Charles had a shot to go 1-2-3 like McNamara and the Dettmans did.
