As you have probably seen, DyeStat Illinois was deactivated on January 6, 2017. It was a decision made by RunnerSpace. It was nothing that I did. I’ve known about this since September making the past fall cross country season a little uncomfortable for me to say the least.

I am still part of the DyeStat.com team and support everything that happens on that site. I am still the Director of the TFX Results on Athletic.net which will take up more of my time going forward. I’ve had that position for more than three years.

Where one door closes, another opens for you. I made the decision to start ILXCTF.com in December. The goals and philosophy have always been KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). This blog site will be simple so that you can get the latest news about High School Cross Country / Track & Field throughout Illinois. I will still be at meets. I will still be writing about what I see and you will still be getting my opinion of what is going on.

There will be some changes that you will see as the site progresses. As of now, this is a PC only site. Eventually, we will get it to the point where it is visible in a mobile setting.

We will continue this spring to do the Sub 5 / Sub 6 challenge on ILXCTF.com. We will also start team rankings for track starting in March. There will some new features that we will announce when they are published.

I am sad that DyeStat IL is no longer around. I am excited for what the future brings.
